I want to present a case of EPILEPSY which was termed to be incurable by renowned and established neurologist of Mumbai. The case goes like this :

10 yr old female staying at Bandra, Mumbai comes with a complaints of severe repeated convulsions, tonic in character every 10 mins (around on an avg. 60 to 70 episodes per day) she was on tablet tegretol / tab. Frisium / tab.lametec, Tab. Encorate Chrono without much response in convulsions. She was studying class 3. Since she was getting convulsions frequently in class, she was told to leave school, as this was having bad effect on the other children. When she came to me for treatment, she was wearing a headgear to prevent injuries to the head. On further evaluation and understanding her case, It was found that she was a mischievous child who was pampered due to her disability . She would at times tell lies, get very angry and would slap others out of anger and sometimes use abusive words. She was very restless and keep on running from one place to the other and even in the most dangerous places, like peep out of the window of the house without realizing the danger involved. She would scratch others and would always laugh when questioned or after the episodes of convulsions. She also would tease others and would like to dress extraordinarily with makeup. She is deceitful, obstinate, love singing and dancing, talkative and always blaming others. She is also found to be precocious. She is fond of pickles, pork, chicken and aversion to milk.

Considering all these points in her behaviour, a constitutional remedy in Homoeopathy which has an affinity towards Epilepsy was given. The remedy was AGARICUS 30
I dose was given 10 days back.
Response on day one after the dose, she had only 2 episodes of mild convulsions, on day 2 only one episodes thereafter for 7 days, she had no episodes of convulsions…

Observation in her behaviour - drastic change in her nature, no restlessness at all, stood calm for atleast an hour, could answer all questions properly, then no history of quarrelling, stubbornness and deceitfulness.

Conclusion:
This case has responded instantly because the understanding of the person was fitting the understanding of the constitutional remedy at the level of the mind and body. This patient will have to be monitored regularly and in due course of time. She will be back to her normal school. This is what is called as complete cure according to all standards. Her other medicines in allopathy will be gradually tapered down.
